This is my first entry! There was an interesting book at the bookstore I was at last week about blogging. I'm a firm believer in synchronicity; If something happens once, it probably won't happen again. If it happens twice, it will definitely happen three times. I like to think it's the universe's way of tapping us on the shoulder and saying, "Hey, you might want to check this out". The book was the second time my psyche had been approached with the concept of blogging (an e-mail newsletter was the first). The third was a 'blocked website' notification I received from work. I manage the Internet firewalls at work, and some poor chap had tried to access calpundit.blogspot.com. The website rating service we subscribe to at work seems to block the most innocuous sites sometimes. The site was rated "BCD" (i.e. "Partial nudity, Full nudity, Sexual acts"). I guess some people put some pretty racey stuff in the blogs (I ain't seen it). Anyway, there was the third approach, "blogspot". An now here I am.
