Blogging. When I first heard about "we[b logging]," I thought "Wow. That's pretty cool! It's like a personal journal, but other people can read it." Well if you look at this blog, you can see that (for me at least) it's had a "flash in the pan" kind of existence.

But then, I stumbled upon a blog of a friend, and I was like, "hey, there's some real solid stuff here!" For instance I never knew she was allergic to oranges. I didn't know she worked with a real, honest-to-god sociopath. Yes, similar to slinkies, there are people that it would be fun to push down the stairs.

So.. Kudos to you Livi!!!

..and now the downside.

Can I really believe that people will actually want to read the drivel that my blog will most likely degenerate into? I imagine people running away from their computer cubbies, trying to scratch their eyes out. "I just read sevej's latest blog entry! Arrrggghhh! Make it go away!" Or maybe it would be more like, "hmmmm.. that was inane and stupid." .

Still, I keep coming back to Livi's blog. It's not that I agree with everything she wrote, rather it's the raw, in-your-face, unapologetic venting of her life's unique perspective that I find intriguing and engaging.
